To my new first graders and their families,
I can't wait to get to know all of you. First grade is going to be a wonderful experience. I will be sending you each a letter early in August to let you know a little bit more about next year. Until then, I hope you have a great summer and enjoy lots of good times.

P.S. Here is a list of school supplies that you will need to bring with you on the first day of school.
- Scissors (Fiskars brand is recommended.)
- A water bottle for your desk
- Ten glue sticks (This may last only half the year.)
- Crayons (no more than 24 please)
- Markers (optional)
- A supply box
- One yellow and one red folder with top insert pockets
- Wipes for hands
- Wipes for surfaces
- A box of tissues
