WELCOME

Dear Future Fourth Grade Student,

Hello!  I hope you are enjoying your summer as much as I am! I am so excited to start this school year!  I have been getting the classroom ready for you.  Here are a few things that I would like you to bring on the first day of school:

5 glue sticks a highlighter
1 spiral notebook 1 black Sharpie
scissors 3dual-pocket folders
2 red pens 5-subject notebook
a ruler 3 pencils
one large eraser colored pencils

I will supply Assignment Pads, Friday Folders, and paper.

I look forward to seeing you in September.  I will meet you in the Cafetorium.

Friday Folders -  These contain important papers and notices from school.  Please be sure to check and return any necessary forms.  Folders should be returned empty on Monday.

Assignment Pads will come home everyday.  It is each students responsibility to record all assignments.  Please encourage your child to check off his or her assignments as completed.

A Weekly Letter will come home each Monday. It will contain topics  we will be covering that week, as well as any upcoming tests or quizzes.  Click here for my Weekly Letter.

Book Reports will be assigned each month.  Each month a paper will come home describing the genre and expectations for that month.  Books should be at least 75 pages, with the exception of biographies and non-fiction books.
