Dear 4th Grade Student,

My name is Mrs. Smith and I am very excited about our year together in the fourth grade.

I have been very busy getting our classroom ready for the beginning of school. The room looks great and is all ready for you to arrive on September 7, 2010.

I have listed the school supplies that I would like you to bring with you on the first day of school. If you can’t find any of these items please do not stress , we can always improvise!

Please bring:

1 - Five-subject notebook

Colored pencils

2 – One-subject notebooks

Large eraser

2 - red pen

2 - Two-pocket folders

2 - glue stick

1 - Box of tissues

8 - pencils (sharpened)

1 - 12 inch/cm ruler

1 - pair of scissors

1 - highlighter

One big smile!
