The Candy Fundraiser begins sometime in September (date is decided sometime in May/June). For 2010, candy is expected to be delivered on September 16th, and given out on that day or September 17th. The Fundraiser runs for approximately 30-35 school days (for 2010, sale ends Oct 29). Students must have a signed fundraising form on file with the 8th grade advisor (currently Mr. Brooks). This form is normally given out in January of the 7th grade year as we have parents sign for magazine drive and candy sale fundraising permission. Boxes of Candy have 60 pieces in them. Students are to charge $2 per item. When a student is finished selling a box, they turn $60 into Mr. Brooks (Checks can be made out to: Byram Schools). They are credited $30 ($30 goes back to the company to pay for the candy). The student then chooses whether to take another box. Students may stop at any time AND students may take multiple boxes at any time as well. Sales are not to be processed on the bus, in school or door to door.
