There are a few supplies
that we will need in our classroom Please bring them with you on September 2nd
- Kindergarten Orientation.
* A sturdy plastic pencil box – approximately 8” X 5” X 2”. This is the perfect size for our desk and cubbies. Please make sure that your name is on it.
* A clean, empty small food storage container with lid (a small margarine container or something around that size). This will be for your clay. Please put your name on it.
* 10 - 12 white glue sticks Please bring only white or clear glue sticks. The purple and blue sticks stain our projects.
* 1 10-12 pack of colored pencils (Crayola is the best)
* 1 package of washable magic markers (Again, crayola is the best)
* 4 Low odor dry erase markers (any color – please not the skinny ones)
The glue sticks, colored pencils, and markers will be put into a sharing basket to be used throughout the year. I have pencils, Elmer’s glue, erasers, scissors and crayons. If you bring your pencil box to orientation, we can fill it up or we can do it on the first day of school.
Tissues and diaper wipes (useful for art clean-up) are used often in our classroom and are not supplied by the school. If you would like to contribute any of these items, I would appreciate it.
Kindergarten teachers are notorious junk collectors. Please let me know if you have anything that we might be able to use creatively in our classroom!
Thank you!
