GRADUATION AWARDS

The following awards are given by the school community, by organizations and individuals who wish to recognize the efforts of our graduates. While most of these awards have been given for many years, it is possible that changes may occur.

· Frances M. Hughes Awards for Perseverance given by Byram Education Association.

· The Students That Best Exemplify The Ideals of Our School given by Byram Education Association.

· The Dedication Award, in memory of Denise Stevens, to a student who exhibits a dedication to School, Home and Community given by the Byram Education Association.

Ambition and Cooperation given by Shop Rite.

·Personality - Common Sense given by Shop Rite.

· Rotary Award For Propensity toward School and Community Service given by Netcong-Stanhope Rotary Club.

· Robert Cunningham Memorial Award.

· Lenape Band Booster Award by Lenape Band Boosters.

· Byram Library Association Award.

· Byram Teachers' Book Group Award

· George B. Johnson Memorial Award for Volunteerism given by the Lakeland Emergency Squad.

· Outstanding Student in History given by Daughters of the American Revolution

EIGHTH GRADE HONORS PROGRAM

Graduates who achieve the status of honor student (90% cumulative average or above) will be awarded the Presidential Academic Fitness Award Certficate and Pin.
